Home in Larnaca, Cyprus
Cyprus is a way-station on the way to Jordan and Iraq.  We came here from Islamabad to get away from the potential anti-American violence expected there.  Patti's office is in a "self-catering" apartment in the center of Larnaca, a concrete jungle of a town saved only by its location on the seashore.

We live in another "self-catering" unit located in the building at upper left.  The next two photos show the view from our balcony but don't give a clue to the endless racket of joy-riding boy racers with rally cars or Harley cruisers who speed thru town day and night until 4am.  It's a constant lovely 70 degrees, but the weather  changes often and the clouds and rains come and go every day.

The views on the right show a typical seaside hotel, a crusader castle in the mountains, and some pretty pix of the sea and sky.

Life in Cyprus ended on May 8, 2003 when we moved to Amman.
